FIXR Solo Play

Objective

Score as many points as possible before the game ends.

Setup

  1. Shuffle the deck.
  2. Deal yourself 4 Parts and/or Tactic Cards.
  3. If any Event Cards are dealt, reveal them, replace them with Part Cards, then shuffle the revealed Event Cards back into the Dig Pile.
  4. Reveal 3 cards to create the Salvage Field.

On Your Turn

Choose one action:

  • Salvage – Take the top Part Card from any Salvage stack. Refill any empty Salvage stack from the Dig Pile.
  • Dig – Draw the top card from the Dig Pile. If it is an Event Card, resolve it immediately.
  • Build – Complete one legal Build.

Follow all normal game rules. Events and Tactics, however operate slightly differently. See below:

Solo Event Rules

Engine Fire

Discard one Engine from your hand to the Scrap Pile. If you have no Engine, nothing happens. Place Engine Fire into the Salvage Field.

Inspection Sweep

Discard all Contraband Cards from your hand to the Scrap Pile. Place Inspection Sweep into the Salvage Field.

Sandstorm

Shuffle your hand face down. Randomly choose one card and place it beneath the largest Salvage Field stack. Place Sandstorm into the Salvage Field.

Track Collapse

Return all cards in the Salvage Field to the Dig Pile, shuffle the Dig Pile, then reveal 3 new Salvage cards. Remove Track Collapse from the game.

Solo Tactic Rules

Petty Theft

Shuffle your hand face down. Randomly choose one card and place it into the Scrap Pile. Place the Petty Theft card into the Scrap Pile.

Thank You!
When acquired, immediately search one Salvage Field stack. You may take one Part from that stack. Return the remaining cards in the same order, then place Thank You! in the Scrap Pile.

End Game

When the last card is drawn from the Dig Pile, finish resolving that action. Then take one final turn.

On your final turn, you may either:

  • Build (using only cards currently in your hand), or
  • Pass

After your final turn, proceed to scoring.

Scoring

Score your Builds as normal.

  • Manufacturer Build: 8 Points
  • Mixed Build: 5 Points
  • Contraband Build: 10 Points

Subtract 1 point for each Contraband Card remaining in your hand.

Your final score is your Guild Score.
